Well it's time to re-post this post about some of my favorite tutorials.

Every once and a while I get asked questions about what I do to make avatars. As I have been getting this question frequently I figure it is time again to link to some of my favorite tutorials.

First off there is the one tutorial I ALWAYS link to when people ask questions. This tutorial, by dtissagirl is great for ANY icon maker, new or old. It also links to many great tutorials in it, which I have found helpful.
Also helpful are tutorials which I have in my Memories. Most of these are from icon_tutorial, a great resource for any icon maker.

I'm also adding in one of my favorite places for resources. freshmakers has some of the best icon textures, and brushes, all in one place for you to find them.

Finally a great place for free fonts is dafont.com They have everything there!
